Manager, Marketing Traffic Planner
The Marketing Traffic Planning Manager will be responsible for measuring, planning and managing traffic plans for both ecommerce and stores. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining expert knowledge of traffic by category, projected traffic needs to meet commercial objectives and reporting of KPIs related to marketing driven traffic. This role will work collaboratively with the media, marketing and finance teams to provide insights, drive strategic decisions and in season adjustments to meet the commercial objectives. This role will be responsible for early identification of risks and opportunities as it relates to traffic at a category level. This role is also responsible for maintaining current and accurate plans for traffic by category. As a part of the Marketing Effectiveness organization this role will maintain a non-biased data led view on improving overall marketing efficiency and delivering on key objectives. Specific areas of responsibility will include maintaining expert knowledge of category level traffic for both online and in store, planning forward projections of category level traffic and informing marketing teams on variances to commercial objectives. This position will be a liaison to cross functional partners including Corporate Finance and Planning. This role is responsible for cross organization coordination of risk assessment, trade off decisions and traffic planning. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing Effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities: Establish and maintain KPIs for category level traffic, both online and in store. Create and maintain traffic plans for categories identifying risks and opportunities. Report out regularly progress towards category level traffic objectives and provide recommendations and guidance on necessary course corrections with enough time to impact marketing activity. Collaborate cross functionally to ensure KPIs are clearly understood, aligned across organizations and transparent to leadership. Coordinate across marketing departments and finance departments giving counsel on KPIs related to category traffic trends and projections. Assist in the development of seasonal commercial objectives. Present insights and recommendations to multi levels of associates from time to time, including to Marketing Leadership or cross functional partners. Provide guidance and support to Director of marketing Effectiveness. Core Competencies & Accomplishments: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data led fields with exposure to Planning functions. Ideal candidate will have a foundation of strong analytic skills through either education or experience (Math, Statistics, Engineering or Finance) and experience in Financial Planning (Business Development, Marketing Strategy, Business Strategy). Bachelor's degree in Science or Business required. Master's degree a plus. Strong understanding of analytical best practices, planning, forecasting and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Familiarity with planning, forecasting and delivering data led insights, beyond just reporting data, required.
