EDG provides the principles, policies, processes, architecture, and governance to enable consistent, trusted, and usable data to drive accurate data-driven business outcomes.Primary Responsibilities:The EDG Manager of Data Retention Strategy will be responsible for:Contributing to an enterprise Data Retention and Deletion Management strategyDeveloping policy, standards and procedures as needed to support compliance with global data retention and deletion lawsCollaborating with the Global Records Management team to ensure alignment with Records Retention SchedulesProviding requirements to Product Owners and Technology to build, enhance and maintain tools that automate data deletion and retention, as well as related metrics and reports that track compliance.Collaborating with EDG teams, Privacy and Records Management teams, data stewards and data custodians to ensure that data is appropriately retained and deletedProviding support in training, communications, and change management related to Data Retention across the enterprise.Qualification Requirements:A successful candidate will have:3+ years prior experience developing and implementing data management practices regarding deletion and retention of data.Experience with developing and implementing Data Governanceat an Enterprise or local level for a financial services companyKnowledge of regulations such as BCBS-239, GDPR, CCPA, and others that drive data retention and deletion requirementsAbility to drive results in a fast-paced environment often with significant ambiguity.Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability and resiliency.Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
