The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for all areas of inventory tracking. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Recording all production entries and material movements into StratixRecording inventory adjustments based upon physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and other corrections as deemed appropriateAllocating inventory to sales orders to maximize inventory turnsEntering and tracking the status of NCRs for the facility: this includes making recommendations to the cost accountant regarding any material cost adjustments that are requiredAssisting in locating material for production and shipping as needed.Organizing and managing inventory cycle counts for the facility: this includes organizing count teams, establishing count areas, defining and communicating the procedures to be used as well as reconciliation of the counts.Tracking any inventory reconciliations that are performedResolving inventory discrepancies and material shortages by determining the reason for the discrepancies and assist in resolutionDetermine appropriate inventory stock levels and direct inventory replenishment levelsEnsuring traceability (MTRs) for production material orderedTracking finished goods order status.Coordinating with sales coordinators and commercial team regarding order status and shipping status.Following and adhere to safety procedures and strictly adhere to facility safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment.Other duties as assignedSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Compensation Information:The pay range for this position is $27.69 - $33.65/ hour.
