Interim Director Surgery

A wonderful new opportunity has become available for an Interim Director of Surgery at an acute care hospital outside of Kirtland, New Mexico. This hospital specifically has 240+ patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. 
The Interim Director of Surgery is responsible for the overall management and administration of surgical services within the healthcare facility. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring high-quality patient care in the surgical department. The Director is expected to collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize surgical services, manage resources efficiently, and uphold regulatory compliance.
The hospital is looking for an Interim Director with an active nursing license in the state of NM as well as 3+ years of Director level experience in the OR. Experience in a similar position will allow the Director to feel prepared to handle any department problems and fix them in the months that they are there. There is always a potential opportunity to move into the full time position at the end if both parties approve!
