We are seeking an experienced Industrial Powder Coating Operator to join our team. As anIndustrial Powder Coating Operator, you will apply powder coatings to various metal surfacesusing specialized equipment and techniques. This is a full-time position with opportunities forgrowth and advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths.Apply powder coatings evenly and accurately to achieve the desired finish.Monitor the coating process to ensure proper adhesion and coverage.Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications.Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Experience:
Previous experience in industrial powder coating operations preferred.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.Experience operating forklifts or cranes for material handling is a plus.Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and troubleshooting.We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
