WE ARE SEEKING A HOUSEKEEPING COORDINATOR $18.00-$19.00/PER HOUR This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department. You will not only supervise housekeeping staff but also have your own responsibilities of cleaning apartments for our seniors. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for Overseeing the Housekeeping Staff Schedules and delegates the cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, etc. Ensures that the housekeeping staff completes duties including: Cleaning occupied apartments Cleaning vacant apartments Cleaning administrative offices Cleaning common areas, not including the dining room or kitchen Cleaning hallways and handrails Cleaning restrooms, water fountains, and hot tubs Cleaning laundry rooms Ironing tablecloths Gathering laundry and changing bedding Picking up trash Cleaning model apartments and/or guest apartments Cleaning elevators and stairwells Works with the Environmental Services Director/Executive Director to set monthly goals for cleaning required in addition to routine cleaning Oversees the laundry for both residents and the food and beverage department Coordinates with the Maintenance department and the Leasing and Marketing department to schedule the cleaning of make-ready apartments Recruits, screens and interviews applicants and make recommendations to the ESD/ED. Trains and retains a full housekeeping staff who are capable and motivated to provide excellent housekeeping service to residents Provides training to ensure safe emergency procedures and work practices Conducts a quality assurance check of apartments one time a year Come make a difference with us!
