The Guest Attendant delivers a positive welcoming experience at critical points of first and last impressions- the entries and exits of the hospital campus. The Guest Attendant sets a positive, helpful and supportive tone in every interaction. Responsibilities: 1. Serves as a resource and coordinating link in assigned areas. Proactively offers helpful information such as directions. 2. Screens and facilitates access for patients, families, and visitors. 3. Summons supplementary security assistance as required to quell disturbances and prevent unauthorized access. 4. Must have outstanding human interaction and communication skills. 5. Must be proactive, enthusiastic, helpful, and supportive. 6. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. 7. Must be able to handle occasional stressful situations or tense interactions. 8. Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Previous customer service or equivalent experience is strongly desired. 2. Experience in healthcare is preferred. Education and Experience 1.
