The Graphic Designer will play an integral role in Marketing and Communications' efforts by providing a sharp eye for aesthetics to create visually striking graphics and designs that transform creative ideas into compelling representations that effectively communicate and uphold our brand message. Principal Duties and Accountabilities: Designs and produces marketing materials and digital assets that align with the company's objectives and brand identity. Collaborates effectively with the marketing team to establish design strategies. Interprets creative briefs and conceptualizes ideas that align with business goals. Manages multiple projects from conceptualization to completion while under tight timelines. Provides expertise on graphic design trends, tools, techniques, and processes. Prepares and presents initial concepts and revises based on feedback. Ensures final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand. Prepares technical and non-technical visual presentations, designing art and copy layouts for publication. Coordinates with creative personnel, marketing, and other graphics professionals to gather information and materials needed for design. Illustrates established design concepts by creating rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing. Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Experience: 5+ years proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio of work. Construction or manufacturing industry experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in design software, like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Up to date with the latest graphic design trends, tools, techniques, and technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of and experience with UX and HTML, photography, animation, and/or video editing preferred. Physical and/or travel demands: Work will be done in a typical office environment that will enable comfortable sitting, but may also require sitting, standing, occasional bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting light objects. Position involves keyboarding, use of computer monitor, and use of telephone. No travel required. Benefits and compensation:
The range for this position has been established at $56,800 and $80,230 and is US Engineering Innovations good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. An industry-leading benefits package including health, dental, and vision plans, matching retirement contributions, and matching 529 contributions all add to your bottom line.
