Job Description SummaryThe VP role directs all the activities related to SIOP, Materials & Inventory planning. The leader partners works closely with the Global Shop Operations team a to deliver a clear demand signal and confirms the supply of materials at the right time and place . This position formulates and execute a strategy to optimize the complete value stream, focusing on improving product delivery, lead time and cost. The position is leading a team that focuses on material management fundamentals including: Forecasting, Scheduling, Materials Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Financial Estimation and Configuration Control.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Facilitate the Demand & Supply process of theSales and Operating Planningrhythm for the Aero Alliance across all product lines.Coordinate and partners with the sourcing and forecasting teams performing unconstrained demand analysis & decision points todetermine investmentsand actions needed to support fulfillment for the Channels and ASPs.Executes global inventory management strategy in alignment with the overall SIOP input signals.Work cross-functionally to maximize the physicalassetsutilization and leadinventory optimizationacross the franchise. Develop globalinventory strategy. Organize inventory execution plan that focuses on balance reductions and turns improvement.Providing strategic leadership andStandard Workto the organization on End of Life (EOL) and Phase in - Phase out (PIPO) Projects overall commodity strategyManages the warehouse and logistics operation to ensure on time delivery of products to the Global Shop Network, Channels and Authorized Service providersProvidestrategic leadershipfor complex strategic supply chain constraintsAs a deep Lean leader, lead the organizational focus onlead time and cyclereductionin connection with PM on market needed cycle timesPartner with Lean Leader(s) to establish lean strategy and set focus areas for continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experienceSignificant years of Material Supply Chain experienceProven track record of continuous improvement and lean expertiseDesired Skills:Strong interpersonal and leadership skills>Ability to create One Alliance, One Team approachStrong business and analytical abilityFamiliarity with materials management disciplines including production and inventory controlAbility to manage changing/conflicting priorities and resolve appropriatelyAbility to effectively operate in any organizational structure and drive outcomes in large, matrixed organizations – understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, and relationships. Can drive work around the world because they are accountable, trustworthy, credible, committed, & intellectually agile.Excellent communications, influencing and collaboration skills required to manage a multitude of internal and external customers and partnersPassionate change leader with high energy and the ability to work effectively across a complex, global organization.Strong team player who works to make the entire team successful, not bound by strict role descriptionFor U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $170,000- $350,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
