Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionIn this role, you willown the Vendor Management COE forVernova'sPeople Operations team. You will lead a central team ofglobalvendor management specialists who areresponsibleto manage and govern relationship with various vendorswho delivers services in People Operations workstreams. Your specific role would focus onwide range of vendor management, KPIs, SLA management, reporting, risk & issue management. You will work closely with sourcing, regional delivery teams and vendors daily.Essential Responsibilities:Establish and maintain strong relationships withpayroll, benefit, and other People Ops servicesvendors, acting as the main point of contact for all vendor-related matters.Provide oversight to strategic HR Operations suppliers. Ensure Business Process Outsourcing compliance with SLAs and act as the primary point of contact for customer escalation support andresolution.Lead and drive daily/weekly operations huddles including timeliness and quality metricsaccountability.Manage inventory of vendors (criticality/risk, contract expiration, contract renewals)Provide standard terms and conditions forcontractsDocument best practices and minimum standards for managing vendors (Routines, incident management, etc.)Create standard risk assessment and classification to drive managementrequirementsFacilitate required routines with 3rdparties and service delivery teams to oversee performance, respond to issues and drive increased businessvalueManage delivery of performance feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.Monitoring vendors to ensure compliance with company policies, attending company meetings, and informing new vendors of their responsibilities.Monitor?performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance and drive improvements as needed.Collaborate with the?Sourcing?and?Legal?to negotiate and manage vendor contracts. Ensure that contracts are properly drafted, reviewed, and executed.Monitor vendors' compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.Participate in the selection and evaluation of vendors, conducting due diligence to assess their capabilities, financial stability, and reputation. Make recommendations for vendor selection based on objective criteria.Develop and implement a vendor governance framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, to govern vendor relationships and ensure consistency across the organization.Proactively identify and address issues, conflicts, and escalations with vendors. Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving between internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.Work closely with internal stakeholders to align vendor strategies with the organization's business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships, drive cost savings, and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, finance, IT, and business units, to ensure effective vendor management and alignment with organizational requirements.Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in the field ofHR,Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.Significant work experience (post education) in the fields ofservices, technology, HRStrong communication skills in the form of written,verbal,and formal presentation. Candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate with, and influence staff made up of many disciplines at all management levels.Good negotiation skills.Flexibility to shift priorities and manage variety of tasks at any one timeDesired:Experience in People Operations Delivery & AdministrationMultiple years of program management experienceExperience in Contract ManagementDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolveproblemsAbility to document, plan, market and executeprogramsProject management skillsIf contracted in the United States:The salary range for this position is 135 600,00 - 180 800,00 - 226 000,00 USD USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
