Responsibilities
• Answering customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms• Promoting products and soliciting orders from regular and prospective customers• Preparing drawings, estimates, and bids to meet customer needs• Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, prices, and sales• Working with the V.P. of Sales and Marketing to negotiate contract details• Processing bid requests and sales orders accurately and efficiently• Completing administrative duties such as preparing budgets and reports• Maintaining detailed technical knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and industry advancements• Suggesting improvements to sales techniques
Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of the flexible packaging industry• Ability to understand product specifications and end use• Experience in material and adhesive selection, art, and print production• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills• Ability to identify and pursue prospective customers• Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to negotiate contracts• Proficiency in preparing sales budgets and reports• Detail-oriented and able to handle administrative duties• Ability to maintain technical knowledge and stay updated on industry changes• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
