Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Project Management Specialist 2 for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role requires analytical, communication, and time management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. You will be a key member of an experienced Office Build-up/refresh team that designs, implements, performs infrastructure improvements in office areas, and handles supplier contracts for day to day operational support. This position involves planning and handling a wide range of small and medium construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate and prioritize the implementations of small to medium projects and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Continual alignment with Workplace Standards and client procedures is needed to ensure appropriate processing of projects is being followed. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Obtains information from various resources, to support the development and formalization of integrated baseline project management plans: team charters, work and organizational
o breakdown structures, quality planning, change management process and project closure, to ensure controls are in place throughout project life cycle.
o Assists in consolidation of independently generated project data and interfaces with functional specialist on cross-functional teams, to ensure stakeholder understanding of trade-offs amongst cost, schedule, quality and risk
o Supports the development of project plan, in accordance with accepted project management principles based on Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) (R)
o Supports formalized project change control board and processes, to ensure deviations from the baseline plan are properly documented and submitted for approval or rejection
o Incorporates approved changes into work statements, cost and schedule baselines
o Collects data from various resources, using interview techniques, to assist in the identification of requirements necessary to meet project needs
o Participates in defining scope with the project team, applying appropriate standards, guidelines, regulations and procedures to ensure all of the work and only the work required to complete the project is included in the baseline
o Establishes baseline critical path schedule, using computing software, to integrate elements of the work breakdown structure and resources
o Monitors milestones and task activities to ensure timely completion of project
o Performs variance analysis and makes recommendations for change, to ensure schedule commitments are met
o Develops cost estimate and identifies resources needed to complete project activities, using project cost management processes.

o Supports the identification and formalization required for communication flows to project stakeholders, including team members, management, program and functional organizations
o Prepares and presents briefings to project team for purpose of communicating project(s) status, identifying issues and soliciting guidance for resolution
o Gathers potential risk factors by using established project management tools, to assist in the identification of project risks
o Assists in risk assessment, by applying standard project risk techniques
o Develops risk response plan and makes recommendations to project stakeholders to minimize project risk
o Investigates for project team, the means by which all necessary goods and services will be provided, using all appropriate guidelines and procedures, in order to ensure project budget and schedule are met
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Project management experience
o Scheduling experience
o Experience with MS suite
o 1 year knowledge of AUTOCADs
EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
