Responsibilities Include: Use standardized tools and processes to prepare comprehensive, accurate, and competitive estimates of project cost and schedule Recognize and recommend alternative designs/scope definitions which support consistency, standardization, and cost Read, understand, and recognize discrepancies in contract terms Review scopes of work within a proposal to obtain bids from sub-contractors Review project requirements and estimate quantities Preparation of accurate conceptual cost models, budgets, and guaranteed maximum pricing Documentation of cost and schedule in support of the bidding process, summarize and put into a proposal form, and provide complete project estimate backup Ensure estimating quality and procedures are maintained Gather details and maintain current market data necessary to accurately estimate construction, material, and soft costs associated with projects Recognize opportunities and take initiative to produce positive outcomes Requirements: Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook Bachelors or Associates degree in construction management or engineering is a plus Some estimating experience preferred Benefits What's In It for You Top Tier Compensation
