Ebenezer is seeking an  Environmental Service & Supply Chain Supervisor for our new beatiful and spacious Skilled Nursing Community in St. Paul, Minnesota! This role supervises all Universal Workers. This position is responsible for cleanliness of facility, resident/patient rooms and laundry services and completing work orders to physically move equipment and furniture. The position is also responsible for delivering supplies from the dock to the appropriate storage room and organzing them within the storage space for other disciplines to access and find. Ebenezer Integrated Care & Rehab (EICR)serves seniors with long-term, transitional, and dementia care needs in the heart of downtown St. Paul. As part of Fairview's Community Health and Wellness Hub, EICR is committed to delivering innovative, collaborative care. The Fairview Community Health and Wellness Hub opened in 2022 to deliver a variety of services to the community—from primary and mental health care to enrichment options for seniors, food access programs, and community gathering spaces. The Hub brings Fairview services together with local organizations—including Minnesota Community Care and Sanneh Foundation—to make it easier for people to access what they need to be well. Supervises Universal Worker staff Responsible for hiring and keeping the department well staffed Ensures that new employees are properly trained and oriented to their job responsibilities Coordinates and monitors staff compliance with regulatory requirements Completes and provides feedback on annual performance reviews Ensures annual education is complete Promotes working relations and teamwork among employees Provides clear and concise work direction Creates and maintains the universal worker daily assignment sheet job duties Responsible for ensuring all shifts are covered/staffed Maintains and orders inventory of linen, supplies, and equipment as related to their department Performs universal worker duties as needed Completes cleaning duries on the daily assignment sheet including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, sinks, etc Performs deep room cleans Performs equipment sanitation and disinfection Performs room audis before patient admission to ensure proper/improper equipement is present/absent Promotes and encourages positive resident satisfaction Welcome residents and initiates conversation Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately Refers issues to interdisciplinary team as appropriate Oversees Supply Chain needs Retrieves orders from the dock and delivers them to the appropriate storerooms Orders Nursing supplies as assigned utilizing Ebenezer's perferred vendors Maintains inventory levels of supply for the nursing floor Organizes and allocates supplies within each storeroom Monitors nursing supplies to assure regulations are met Monitors the use of leased resident equipment and works with nursing to order and return equipment Ensures that there are systems in place to prevent/eliminate running out of necessary supplies Performs other duties as assigned and directed Ability to complete "work orders" as they relate to moving furniture and equipment Ability to complete "work orders" that are unrelated to maintenance (such as changing clock batteries) Required:
One to three years of supervisory experience Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Applications Previous knowledge of infection control practices Preferred:
Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree Three to five years of supervisory experience Supply chain/supply ordering experience
