Here's how a(n) Engineering/Technical Student for our Civil Infrastructure office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities Assists Field Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and/or Estimators Conduct safety audits and quality audits Reads and understands drawings and specifications Logs submittals and process RFI's Assists with surveys and project layouts Maintains and updates field drawings, field equipment and records Assists with coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and field staff Attends relevant project meetings Prepares memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents Assists with project documentation requirements Assists with estimates and solicits subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical Engineering A desire to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Safety Professional, or Estimator, working on civil projects Proof of eligibility to work in the United States 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver's License Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party Working Conditions:
