Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of emergency room experience, proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy, and experience in conscious sedation. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities: Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition. Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as directed by the healthcare team. Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, escalating concerns as necessary. Assist with conscious sedation procedures and ensure patient safety throughout. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current RN license in [State]. Minimum of two years of emergency room nursing experience. Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
