Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Manager of Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Cart Services and lead work direction from the Administrative Analyst, the Disability Accommodations Services Coordinator performs complex duties involving scheduling American Sign Language Interpreting and Real Time Captioning services for DHH students with disabilities in a timely manner with both staff interpreters and 3rdparty vendors utilizing Gridcheck software. The position will be responsible for reviewing and processing financial documentation such as invoices, and personnel documentation for travel and new hire student assistants. A working knowledge of a wide range of subject matter in support of disabled individuals, the functions of the office, and of the University's policies and procedures is necessary to be successful in this position.This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, temporary position anticipated to end on June 30, 2025 with the possibility of reappointment. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
