ResponsibilitiesVerkada seeks a high-energy Channel Sales Director to help manage and grow our regional channel teams. In this role you will: Lead a team of 5 Regional Managers and 40-50 Regional Channel Sales Managers (CSMs) in achieving individual and team quotaOngoing mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and coaching new CSMs and managersSupport and coach teams of managers and CSMs in their responsibility to build pipeline dailyConduct weekly forecast meetingsReporting on sales activity and forecast to the Director of Global Channel SalesConsistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the resultsAssist CSMs in closing highly complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key partners Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline managementCoordinate and lead weekly and monthly one-on-ones, team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvementDeliver results in a fast-paced environmentRequirementsDemonstrated success in directly leading a high-performing sales teams and sales managersChannel Sales Experience requiredDemonstrated sales success (President's Club or similar recognition)Successful track record in a high-volume transaction sales environmentExcellent presentation and listening skillsAbility to quickly and easily develop strategic relationships with executive level stakeholders within large organizations. Ability to develop both top-down and bottom-up strategies between Verkada and National partner leadership that drive successful business outcomes. Proven ability to successfully hire and train new sales representatives and coach lower performers through to successDemonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales results50% travel expectation throughout the United StatesUS Employee BenefitsVerkada is committed to investing in the holistic health and wellbeing of all employees and their families.
