Promoting a continuum of care that promotes independence with appropriate assistance in quality environments.Provide supportive linkages between residents and supportive services available to residents throughout the community.Supports the targeted occupancy level and assists marketing with admission interviews as requested.Manages the day-to-day operations of Activities/Programming Department, Chaplain, Beauty Shop, Companion Programs and Receptionists.Strives to attain excellence in resident satisfaction through ongoing involvement and measurement of resident feedback, implementation of resident suggestions, interactive problem solving with residents.Ensures new residents receive necessary information upon admission while promoting independence, trying to assure new residents are informed and engaged.Prepares and administers the annual budget for Resident Services.Monitors and maintains operating budget and expenses.Ensure preparation and keep all necessary records, including: Monthly calendars (prepared in advance) based on resident input, assessments and interests.Budget and inventory records.Promotes and implements constructive problem solving.Provides ongoing support, direction, supervision, and feedback regarding job performance of all responsible staff.Takes initiative to actively plan, develop, and implement expansion and/or innovation in program services.Participates in implementation of any necessary community marketing plans.Responsible for the planning and implementation of community Class A Events.Makes an active contribution towards improving community relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of The Culpeper. Tracks and reports social accountability and volunteer hours in conjunction with Virginia Baptist Homes Foundation.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in Long Term Care FacilityCommunity InvolvementHold certification as a dementia care specialist or be able to obtain within the first 90 days.Must have experience in the health, human services, and/or community services field.Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills. Must be able to conceptualize, organize, and implement a consistent plan for independent living programming and resident satisfaction.Must have demonstrated ability to hire, direct, and manage personnel.Must demonstrate an understanding of how a CCRC functions, from governing bodies to financing. Ability to communicate the program philosophy and goals. Knowledge of community service network is desirable.Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relation's skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities.
