Please read on... TheDirector, Integrated Insights – CRMis a key member of the US IM Data Insights and Analytics (DIA) team. This position is responsible for strategic insights generation for the ASCVD market, from both primary research and competitive intelligence and requires expertise in both.The director will lead in-line product efforts for creative development, performance tracking and dynamic market assessment. The director must enable the pull-through of insights with clear and effective communication to senior leadership and cross-functional partners by translating the findings into brand and human insights, as well as highlighting strategic opportunities. The Director will lead a market research and CI team member, partner with DIA Integrated Insights ASCVD colleagues and partner with multiple stakeholders. The Director must demonstrate the ability to work independently with a proactive approach to meet business needs and deadlines.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Shape the vision and lead the primary research and competitive intelligence plan• Set priorities for the PMR/CI team, based on needs of the business. Set the vision for the team, based on input from the team and stakeholders. Lead the team in innovative and integrated techniques to problem solve• Proactively propose solutions to business questions and problems and generate research driven ideas that enable enhanced decision-making for the business. Solve complex problems, which may require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation, as well as creative methodologies and breadth of sources.• Translate findings into actionable recommendations and communicate them collaboratively and influentially with the product and marketing teams• Evaluate new sources, vendors and methodologies to identify strategic opportunities•Champion new approaches & techniques to acquire a deeper understanding of physician, patient and other stakeholder behaviors, needs and motivations.• Manage the market research and CI budget and optimize resource deployment for maximum impact• Develop and execute market research to inform strategic decision making and additionally, guide a direct report to conduct market research effectively• Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines and report technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt• Lead primary and secondary competitive intelligence efforts by collaborating with global colleagues, managing CI vendors and addressing business needs with the appropriate CI source• Partner with life cycle management colleagues for long term Franchise success, anticipating business needs and influencing strategies"This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 20% travel as defined by the businessWhat you'll bring to the role:Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree in quantitative subject (e.g., statistics, economics, science or mathematics) is preferredRequired Experience:• A minimum of 8 years of commercial analytics experience• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketplace; knowledge of cardiovascular market a plus• Expertise with competitive intelligence techniques, both primary and secondary• Deep and broad understanding of research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, behavioral science•Champion new approaches & techniques to acquire a deeper understanding of physician, patient and other stakeholder behaviors, needs and motivations.•Executive presence—effective and influential presentation ability to senior leadership•Intellectual curiosity—true interest and passion for using research & CI to uncover insights•A positive attitude and strong work ethic•Excellent communication skills.
