As a Solutions Architect for Strategic Partnerships at PagerDuty, you will be responsible for managing technical relationships and driving technical initiatives with our most strategic partners. This is a high-impact role focused on key relationships with our most strategic partners, defining joint value propositions with those partners and expanding our portfolio of differentiated go-to-market offerings in support of ARR growth. In this role you will collaborate closely with the partner team as well as cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales and solutions consultants to develop alignment and coordinate execution. Key Responsibilities Manage technical partnering initiatives and technical relationships with key partners Develop close relationships with key technical stakeholders in partner organizations Lead technical solution planning and design with partners Execute partner demos, PoCs, and prototypes Collaborate with product management and engineering on product roadmap requirements and planning for integrations that require engineering investment Coordinate with our solutions consultants on internal technical enablement for partnerships and facilitate technical field engagement as needed Represent and evangelize PagerDuty's products and technology with strategic partners and in joint go-to-market initiatives Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional technical experience as a pre-sales engineer, solution architect or solutions consultant Experience working with strategic partners Hands-on Experience with: Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or other IaaS/PaaS) IT monitoring (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog) analytics/logging (e.g., Splunk) IT service management (e.g., ServiceNow, Atlassian) Track record of high performance in prior roles Hands-on experience with solutions architecting, product integrations & APIs, and customer deployments Able to do basic scripting (Java, php, Ruby, Perl) and fundamental knowledge of Linux Preferred Qualifications Strategic perspective on creating customer value through partner solutions and integrations Deep experience working with AWS Experience working with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) Broad ability and interest to work with many different products and technologies across Cloud, DevOps, IT Ops Able to manage or coordinate multiple technical projects in parallel Highly collaborative externally with partners and internally (e.g., PM, Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Support) The base salary range for this position is 156,000 - 215,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
