Communications Specialist

Job Description:

The Communications Specialist at Cisco will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic communication initiatives in Washington, D.C. This part-time entry-level role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in communications or a related field. The ideal candidate will be confident and driven, with strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:- Assist in creating and implementing communication plans and strategies- Write and edit content for internal and external communications, including press releases, social media posts, and newsletters- Support the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other communication activities- Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts, partners, and vendors- Monitor and report on the success of communication initiatives through analytics and metrics- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field- 1 year of experience in communications or a related field- Confident and driven personality- Strong leadership skills- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
