Our client, a prestigious local Boston-based University, has an immediate need for a contract Communications Administrative Coordinator, working with colleagues across a number of University departments, schools, colleges, and programs.
In this role, the right candidate will:
Responsibilities: Assist the Digital Engagement Team within the University's Development & Alumni Relations Office (DAR) with the intake, creation, proofing, and deployment of email communications.communications.Collaborate with partners across DAR and BU's schools and colleges to ensure the successful delivery of digital communications to the right alumni audiences.Aid in the management of the internal email calendar to avoid audience overlap and exhaustion. Help write, design, and build content across multiple communications channels including email, social media, and websites. Required Skills and Experience: BA/BS or equivalent with 1–3 years of experience in email marketing or a similar role.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and experience working with a CMS.Understanding of digital marketing best practices.Experience with data analysis and translation and ability to present data effectively.Experience with programs like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Must be detail- and deadline-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple daily tasks. Preferred Skills and Experience: Familiarity with an email marketing program—e.g., Anthology.Encompass/iModules, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc.Some familiarity in responsive web design and mobile optimization.
