Purpose of the job: The Machine Operator is responsible for precise Plastic Machining of custom parts and/or components using customer and/or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts. Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through CNC machine operation. Collaborate with programmers and fabricators throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project. Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations. Must pay close attention to details on work instruction and machine set up sheets. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have expertise in measuring components with gauges and calipers. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area Operate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity Maintain logs and other necessary documents Work with direct supervision Here's what you will receive: Pay : $20-24.50/hour
Duration : 6 months
Schedule: 6am-4:30pm, Mon-Th

Required Skills / Qualifications: Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices Ability to operate a variety of machines Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts Visual acuity and manual dexterity Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. 1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experience High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
