The Child Care Director will be responsible for the overall management, supervision, and operation of our clients' child care centers, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality child care services.
Program Management: Develop and implement age-appropriate, educational, and engaging programs for children.
Oversee curriculum planning, daily activities, and special events.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and support staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Compliance and Licensing: Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the center's budget efficiently.
Monitor expenses, allocate resources, and make financial recommendations.
Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment.
Implement health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures.
Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in early childhood education.
Encourage ongoing professional development for staff.
Requirements The Minimum age requirement is 21 years.
Completion of high school or an equivalent GED.
Prior managerial experience and a minimum of 2 years working within a licensed child care establishment.
Possession of a Director Credential, at the Bronze level or higher.
