Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the Advancement team• Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy• Foster a culture of philanthropy• Strategically lead the East House Foundation Board• Drive the development and execution of marketing and communications plans• Collaborate with the President and the East House Foundation Board• Establish effective fundraising practices• Oversee all facets of fundraising efforts• Cultivate relationships with donors and expand the supporter base• Lead proactive stakeholder communications
Requirements
• BA or BS degree in business, communications, public relations, journalism, or related fields• CFRE certification strongly desired• Minimum of 7 years fundraising and mission advancement leadership responsibility• Supervisory experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role• Demonstrated success securing major gifts• Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills• Deep understanding of advancement best practices and laws, as well as trends in development, marketing, and communications
