The CAMA Operator set-up, operate, troubleshoot, repair and perform general maintenance on CAMA, ProPrint equipment and tape machine.
Primary Job Responsibilities: Responsible for proper machine set-up: CAMA, ProPrint and tape machine, general machine operation, and changeovers. Verify proper boxes to use and how to select settings for products. Assist Maintenance Department in performing PM's on CAMA, ProPrint or related equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure the products meet both food safety requirements and customer specifications. Communicate quality issues of dry goods materials or finished goods to appropriate personnel. Responsible for the completion of all paperwork including, but not limited to, inspection sheets and set-up checklists. Follow and complete the daily product schedule, including changes that may occur during the course of the day. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Able to lift 30lbs. Stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more). Bend continuously throughout the shift. Able to work in a noisy, wet, and cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Able to reach with hands and arms to adjust equipment settings. Flexible work schedule to include 6 day works weeks and/or weekends. Qualifications: Bi-lingual English/Spanish. Working knowledge of CAMA and ProPrint equipment HS Diploma, GED, or Technical School. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience meeting or exceeding high production expectations. Past experience working in a cold environment 34 degrees Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision and direction. Experience: One year machine-operator in manufacturing experience preferred
