Responsibilities
• Generate new business development in targeted segments• Implement strategic plan to engage and close new business• Utilize analytics and other cross functionalities to create leverage for new business opportunities• Transition converted clients to the Account Management team for ongoing business management• Continually monitor sales goals, metrics, and KPIs• Communicate roadblocks and strategize with the Vice President• Maintain fluid communication with the Account Management team• Call on clients face-to-face and attend tradeshows• Perform other assigned duties and tasks
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field• 5 years of B2B sales and business development experience• Results and commission driven with a strong history of closing new business• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Tenacious and professionally persistent• Creative and willing to take risks• Excellent presentation skills• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office• Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills• Desire to learn new products and systems• Valid driver's license and clean driving record• Experience in the food industry preferred
