The Business Development Account Manager is responsible for securing and developing new and existing accountsThe position requires highly motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced work environmentThe goal is to continually turn on and grow new business

Responsibilities
• Develop new customer relationships based off of supplied leads• Build and nurture existing customer relationships• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities• Manage all account communication in a timely and professional manner• Assist customers in identifying services that fit their needs and provide information on additional services• Actively manage follow up of leads and existing accounts• Source capacity to meet customer needs• Complete pricing requests and customer bids• Work directly with operations and account management to support customer accounts
Requirements
• Ability to work successfully and professionally in a team-based environment• Extremely organized and detail oriented• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships via telephone and email• Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, & decision-making skills• Bachelor's degree preferred
