Billing and Collections Representative - Onsite. We welcome residents in Portland, OR.
The DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Account Resolution Specialist contributes to the achievement of service delivery, performance standards and financial targets by:
Resolving Patient balances effectively
Re-establishing Payment Plans
Resolving exceptions to ensure the proper flow of accounts through the self pay process
Minimize accounts written off to bad debt
Work the Pre-collect inventory to minimize bad debt referrals to the third party collections agency
Assist patients with questions on statements or bills that they receive

Required Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years: Experience in Customer Service; preferred in Healthcare.
