D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Associate Loan Processor . The right candidate will assist in the processing of mortgage loans by providing coverage to teammates who are out of the office and provide a high level of customer service to the company's builders as well as our home buyers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for covering the pipeline of teammates who are out of the office due to approved vacation, leave of absence, sick leave, etc. Communicate with the Mortgage Loan Originator, borrower, etc. on any items needed for the loan Submit loan files and/or conditions to Underwriting Complete pre-draws for Closing Submit loan files to Closing after final approval Read updates and comply with all quality control policies Review Loan Processor reports/dashboards daily Maintain an accurate communication log Update comments and communication on all relevant reports Review all files for company required checklists Attend QC meetings as scheduled Attend weekly processor meetings as directed by the Branch Operations Manager Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Able to work overtime Able to travel overnight Qualifications
Education and/or Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school Three to six months of related experience and/or training Must have a valid and current Mortgage Loan Originator License as required per state regulations Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Proficiency with MS Office and email Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
