Job Description: Assistant Preconstruction Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Develop and retain customer relationships to align with business objectives.
Generate sales to meet revenue and operating income targets.
Manage Associates to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
Possess strong computer skills including proficiency in Word Outlook and Excel.
Effectively estimate and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ensure projects meet or exceed budgeted gross profit.
Follow standard internal operating and estimating procedures for project management.
Perform tasks as assigned by senior management.
Cultivate relationships with specialty subcontractors if required.
Estimate selective bid and designbuild opportunities.
Provide sales support through proposal preparation and contractor qualification.
Manage internal project processes such as documentation and scheduling.
Oversee assigned projects ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control.
Complete weekly payroll processing using available software.
Participate in regular meetings and provide cost forecasting on major projects.
Assist with PowerPoint presentations for major projects.
Support Business Development Managers with project narratives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
Background in corporate sales/marketing or project management preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills; business development experience advantageous.
Experience in scope development estimating and pricing preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
