Our mission is to empower individuals with choices in purposeful living built on values of faith, servant leadership, stewardship, integrity, peace of mind, innovation, and joy.If you are looking to make a difference, we'd love to talk to you!Benefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental InsuranceTuition and Educational ReimbursementFlexible scheduling & generous PTO planSupportive environment to grow your career4.5% dollar for dollar match on our 403BFirst dollar generous contributions to HSA accounts plus a match!Amazing residents, team members, and leaders!Qualifications:High school graduate/GED3 years of formal dining room and managerial experienceExcellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassionEffective communication skillsMust posses the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and the publicMust be familiar with HACCP protocolsMust posses the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices as approved by DirectorMust possess knowledge of federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding food service practices in healthcare institutionsBe able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidaysMust be able to greet and interact with residents and ensure all patrons have an enjoyable and satisfying experience in the dining roomEssential DutiesUpdate all resident dining information systems, reservations, menus and server checks, as neededManage and maintain a POS system.Monitor dining employee attendance and conduct performance evaluationsPrepares schedules and processes payrollEnsure automated departmental systems are functionalNotification to Director of Dining and Hospitality Services of inventory requirements in a timely fashionEnsure staff completes all mandatory in-services and trains staff in proper proceduresAdherence to all safety policies & procedures of The Chesapeake and regulatory authoritiesMaintenance of confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident's rights and employee confidentiality are protectedAssure that all Dining Services protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established policyEnsure menus and server checks are printed daily and without errorsResponsible for developing in-service training programs for all dining room staffPerformance of other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directedComfortability with Microsoft Office including Word, Power point, and ExcelWe strongly believe in our mission of empowering individuals with choices in purposeful living.
