Applications Engineer Intern - Process Plants - Tulsa, OK - Full Time - Tulsa (OK), United States
Our process plants team is growing, and we are looking for talent who is interested in helping Sulzer make a difference. Our team works on developing process solutions from concept to pilot testing to start-up of plant operations and we4 support a variety of industries.
The intern will be responsible for assisting the Process Engineering departments for Separation Technology to update/upgrade tools for design, calculation, data base and technical assistance. By the end of your internship, you will gain: An understanding of the design/rate process equipment like vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, mass transfer components and separation equipment Preliminary knowledge on process flow scheme Improved knowledge of MS Excel with VBA in an industry environment Exposure to Chemical Engineering fundamentals and other work processes to help complete automation. Knowledge of the proposal process Exposure to design standards and applications Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.0 Must have completed sophomore year in a Chemical Engineering Program and have taken a Heat Transfer course as well as a Fluids course Good working knowledge of MS Excel with VBA Analytical capability Strong verbal and written communication skills You will be part of Sulzer Chemtech in the Process Plants group in Tulsa, OK.
