About the Position:
We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and efficient individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This full-time, hourly position entails managing daily office operations from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Responsibilities:
Answering phones and managing the voice message system
Processing mail and greeting visitors
Ordering supplies and processing expense requests
Maintaining office equipment
Scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars
Arranging food and beverages for meetings and seminars
Maintaining the appearance of the office
Creating flyers, presentations, and other print materials
Assisting with event planning and coordination
Updating social media content and website
Preparing correspondence and reports
Making travel arrangements
Performing occasional local errands
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment
Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Docs
Proven experience in office administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Excellent customer service skills
Proactive attitude and good judgment
Basic operation and etiquette of instant messaging and video conferencing
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to obtain and maintain state and local training requirements and clearances, including PA Child Abuse history clearance, PA State Police background clearance, background fingerprinting check, and mandated child abuse reporter training.
Access to mobile and home internet connection preferred for potential remote work scenarios.
