Summary/Objective
Ditronics is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist who is business-minded with a passion for detail. The ideal individual will be proactive and have the ability to work independently. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Controller and is responsible for all day-to-day data entry of Accounts Payable and multiple monthly Commission processing. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills are needed, as well as the desire to learn and grow.

Essential Functions:

· General Ledger coding and entry of all Accounts Payable, working with multiple entities
· Maintain vendor profiles in QuickBooks
· Review check requests for proper authorization
· Reconciliation of monthly vendor statements, credit cards, and employee expense reports
· Assists with Accounts Receivable and special projects as necessary
· Office supply orders
· Maintains AP and AR folders and files
· Bank Deposits
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Competencies and Skill:
Exhibits excellent time management with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks, a plus
Ability to multi-task, adapt to shift in priorities, and work independently with tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Problem resolution; must possess excellent analytical sills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years of previous experience in the accounting field
Working knowledge of general accounting principles and functions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Positive, respectful, and professional attitude towards customers, employees, vendors, and management
Ability to prioritize duties while making sound decisions within the established policy and escalate if necessary
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment:
This position works in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and other standard office equipment.

While performing this job's duties, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening, holidays, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:
This position does not require any travel.
