Role Snapshot:
As an Accounting Manager in 2024, a pivotal year for us, you will join a passionate team tackling complex financial challenges. You will work under the direct supervision of the VP of Finance and engage deeply with all aspects of financial operations across multiple product lines and geographical regions. This role is crucial in managing our comprehensive month-end close processes and delivering executive and board-level financial reports. Your contributions will directly influence our strategic direction as we gear up for an initial public offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee significant elements of the month-end close process, including revenue recognition, expense accruals, and account reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting operations and mentor junior team members.
Prepare high-level financial reports for executive leadership and the board.
Manage key aspects of the annual audit and tax preparation.
Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures to support scaling efforts.
Collaborate across departments to enhance financial procedures and controls in preparation for future growth.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with a blend of public and private sector roles.
Demonstrated ability in preparing for IPOs is highly desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in handling complex technical accounting issues.
Leadership experience and familiarity with financial software like Netsuite are pluses.
