Licensed Property & Casualty Account Manager – Commercial/Personal Lines
Company: A leading agency located in Catskill, NY renowned for providing exceptional services, solutions, and professional advice to both businesses and individuals. Utilizing a consultative approach and leveraging over 75 years of combined experience, we pride ourselves on designing innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions.
Location: On-site, Catskill, NY
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $40,000 - $80,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a Licensed Property & Casualty Account Manager capable of servicing our existing clients' insurance needs while also quoting new business for assigned Producers. Responsibilities extend to remarketing select existing clients at the time of their renewal, cross-selling accounts, and executing changes and endorsements requested by clients and producers.
Key Responsibilities:
Responding to inquiries from Agency insureds, prospects, and Producers.
Completing applications, rating and quoting risks for new and renewal business.
Managing extensive client files including scanning and attaching correspondence to the appropriate client's file in the management system.
Processing miscellaneous changes, billing inquiries, endorsements, and cancellations.
Preparing policies and endorsements for delivery and forwarding claim inquiries as appropriate.
Conducting thorough pre-renewal preparations for key accounts including file updates and coverage upgrade recommendations.
Performing data entry and executing any additional duties relevant to the position.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
NYS License with a minimum of three years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience in the independent Agency environment.
Exceptional telephone etiquette, a friendly outgoing personality, and a character of integrity.
Proficiency in computer usage with a capacity for learning new software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required, with experience in agency management systems considered a plus.
