About Us:
We're on the lookout for a passionate full-time Account Manager - Educational Sales to join our dynamic team. We're dedicated to revolutionizing learning through technology, and you'll play a vital role in driving the growth of our K-12 institutional business and subscription products.
Role Overview:
As an Account Manager - Educational Sales, you'll be at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with educators and school administrators across the United States. Your primary goal will be to promote and sell our innovative Varsity Tutors for Schools product suite, designed to enhance learning experiences through district-wide live tutoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and cultivate a robust sales pipeline using both inbound and outbound lead strategies.
Consult with school and district leaders, effectively communicating the value proposition of our learning tools and services.
Address questions and challenges, overcoming objections to drive sales.
Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with existing school district accounts.
Gather feedback to enhance product offerings and improve our go-to-market strategy.
Educate school partners on product usage and opportunities to improve student outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous product improvement.
Qualifications:
2+ years of inside sales experience (experience in ed-tech/SaaS preferred) with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Proactive, energetic self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to persuasively articulate the advantages of our products over competitors'.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working independently and multitasking effectively.
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to embrace change.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
