Job summary
As an Automated Logistical Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will maximize your organizational skills and learn the ins and outs of supply chain management.Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and perform specific functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts.Through training, you will develop skills and experience for a civilian career in stock control, parts clerk, or storekeeper roles.

Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain records (stock lists, inventory, material control, etc.)• Maintain stock locator system and administer document control procedures• Process requests and turn-in documents• Perform load-list and shop-stock list duties• Operate material-handling equipment• Construct bins, shelving, and other storage aids• Simplify and standardize maintenance data collection• Improve maintenance management to enhance performance and cost data accuracy• Handle movement, storage, and maintenance of ammunition• Handle procedures for shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing stock
Requirements
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and/or typing• Preference for physical work• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment• Completion of 10 weeks of Basic Training• Completion of 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT)
