Sr Software Engineer, Websites

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Writing high quality production-ready code, paired with automated testsWork across the Websites Team and own/execute features with large business impact and reachDesign solutions to accomplish business goals for a particular area of the applicationAdvocate for best practices and contribute to technical process improvementsParticipate and provide substantive feedback during code reviews; engage junior team members in mentoring relationshipsProducing well organized user guides and documentation, setting a high standard for the teamOwnership of Incident response and resolutionParticipation in on-call rotationsRequired Skills & Experience:Advanced knowledge and demonstrated skill with a variety of languages and frameworksDemonstrated proficiency in complex database design and query optimizationAbility to solve/triage complex issues across many components of a production systemPossesses comprehensive understanding of secure software development practiceStrong understanding of build processes/test automationStrong verbal & written communication skillsAbility to produce comprehensive and well organized documentation, diagrams, and user guidesAdvanced understanding of Agile methodologies and conceptsProficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Python, PHP, MySQLHighly Desired:5+ years of hands-on software engineering experienceFormal degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related fieldExperience with job queue/messaging systemsExperience leading projects or functioning as a team leadProficiency in Rust, Selenium#LI-Remote   #LI- JL
