Full job description The Chicas Youth Advocate Assistant plays a creative and hands-on role as a collaborator in our Chicas Youth Development Program. This assistant supports the Youth Advocate in implementing culturally responsive and age-appropriate curriculum. Committed to the vision and mission of Adelante Mujeres, the Advocate Assistant attends events and activities representing the Program or the organization. Their contribution fosters a collegial and productive work environment. The Chicas Advocate Assistant reports to the Chicas College and Career Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Youth Advocates in the delivery of up to four after school sessions lasting 90 minutes each week in Forest Grove, Hillsboro or Beaverton School Districts Assist in parent communication and event coordination by providing valuable support in making phone calls, ensuring clear and effective communication channels Support with recruiting, supervising, and mentoring new participants in collaboration with Chicas Advocates Support with the coordination and implementation of specific Chicas' projects such as Summer Camps, Soccer Academy, Chicas Leadership Group Support with data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and organized records QUALIFICATIONS We recognize that there are multiple expressions of professional readiness.
