Boot allowance. Family orientated.JOB DESCRIPTION:WSI is currently seeking a Yard Technician who is ready to join our growing team. This position will help WSI with all things related to the well being of the shop & yard. WSI is looking for that person who can adjust on the fly, and be able to follow directives in a timely manner. Working independently or as a group is a necessity and being able to maintain a positive attitude with all scenarios that come. The Yard Technician will be responsible for keeping inventory of supplies, making brine, assist in truck prep and help with pick up and deliveries of assets. This is a perfect position for a person who likes to tinker with small machines, make repairs and stay busy. Snow or sun there is always a job waiting and you will never get bored with the variety of tasks that come your way.RESPONSIBILITES:Organization of materials, consumables and inventoryReceive deliveriesMaintain Yard: Pick up trash, Manage condition of yard, Organize assets, Inventory assets, Plow snow in lotMaintain Shop: Stow away tools/equipment, sweep shop, remove trash, systems for supplies, keep hoses storedMaintain Chemicals: Keep organized, keep chemicals safe and secure, keep in stock through inventory and orderingRepair, clean, prep portable toilet equipmentThis role is meant for a person who feels that is highly motivated, can multitask, and follow through with action plans set by the Manager.
