Job Description : Overflow Church is seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Worship Leader. As a Worship Leader, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing weekly worship gatherings, guiding our congregation into meaningful encounters with God through music and prayer. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to invest in the development of future worship leaders, equipping them with the skills and confidence to lead effectively.
Responsibilities :
Lead Worship Gatherings : Curate engaging and spiritually enriching worship experiences for our congregation, incorporating a diverse range of musical styles and expressions.
Plan Weekly Services: Collaborate with the pastoral team to plan and organize weekly worship services, selecting appropriate songs, prayers, and other elements to enhance the overall worship experience.
Recruit and Train Worship Leaders : Identify and mentor individuals with musical giftings and a heart for worship, providing guidance and support as they grow in their abilities to lead worship.
Foster Spiritual Growth : Create an atmosphere conducive to spiritual growth and intimacy with God, facilitating moments of worship that inspire and uplift the congregation.
Cultivate a Team Environment : Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the worship team, nurturing a sense of unity and shared purpose among team members.
Qualifications :
Demonstrated proficiency in leading worship and performing music. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and develop others. A heart for worship and a deep desire to see individuals encounter God through music and prayer. Previous experience in worship ministry or related field preferred. Commitment to the mission and values of Overflow Church. Schedule : This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week, including Sunday mornings and midweek rehearsals.
