Responsibilities
• Plans, installs, configures, upgrades, tests and maintains the directory and enterprise applications• Maintains system performance through monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning• Creates or modifies scripts/programs to enhance or automate IT services processes• Responsible for enterprise backup systems and disaster recovery planning• Provides support and escalation to other IT departments• Participates in overnight or weekend maintenance activities• Works as a technical resource on assigned projects• Contributes to effective team management of problems, issues, and opportunities
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience• Five (5) years of related experience• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server operating system• Strong experience in HP Data Protector, Microsoft Active Directory, MS-IIS application deployment, MS Exchange, MS-Sharepoint, Distributed File Systems, or MS-SQL• Windows Active Directory Knowledge as it pertains to group policy• General networking TCP/IP knowledge• Understanding of server-client computing and relational database environments• Ability to write scripts and programs to automate functions and extract reports• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Highly self-motivated and attention to detail• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to learn new technologies
