Job description Evolve Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a 13 week correctional assignment.
*Position will cover more than one location: half of time at CCI and the other half at FLCI*
*Must be actively licensed in the state of WI* Must have experience working as a Physician in the US* Schedule is Mon-Fri Days; 40 hours per week gtd- no weekends/no call/no nights. Contract duration is 13 weeks, looking for a candidate that can start asap.
Compensation is $6,162 gross including a tax free housing and meal allowance of $1,162 on 40hrs worked. W2 hourly rate is $125/hr.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Physician Supervisor, the Institution Physician is responsible for professional medical services to inmates in accordance with standards of practice in Corrections and Community standards, and the Bureau of Health Services Policies, Procedures and Standards. In general, the Physician attends to the medical needs of inmates, diagnosing and treating illness and injuries and arranging for professional consultation when warranted; supervises, in conjunction with the Health Service Manager, the development and implementation of treatment protocols and patient flow charts.
Required: 2 years of experience Must be licensed in the state of WI Primary Care Physician must be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.)
