SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing the operation of approximately 150 branded Wholesale locations, through effective account management by delivering maximum value to operators to support and grow their businesses. Responsible for collaboration with Wallis support divisions, including IT, Maintenance, and Accounting to ensure adequate resources are available to support our customers. Responsible for coaching, communicating, and holding accountable Dealer Business Consultants to all company standards and policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES BY COMPETENCY: Business Results Orientation Facilitate customer operational and financial health by identifying, designing and implementing value-added programs to improve site volume, related profit centers, merchandising, marketing and store operations to assist the site operator in running a more profitable location. Support branded oil company marketing programs through site execution. Analyze volume trends at existing sites by initiating and executing action plans such as price initiatives, promotional strategies, and counseling and mentoring to operators to promote growth within assigned geographical area. Propose and negotiate site contract renewals. Develop and maintain fuel pricing strategy across multiple commission marketer sites. Develop and track division budget for existing locations. Monitor, evaluate and analyze monthly P&L statements and Balanced Scorecard performance with Dealer Business Consultants to identify strengths and weaknesses and plans for improved performance. Manage existing fleet business and act as liaison between Wallis and Wright Express to promote branded and retail specific offers for both company-operated and dealer-operated locations. Execute up to 75% travel (mostly local but some non-local required). Maintain regular attendance and follow designated safety practices. Communication Communicate regularly with Director of Wholesale on any issue that may impact the business. Schedule and execute regular touch points with customers to know and understand their needs. Manage the relationship between the customer and the company, serving as catalyst for conflict resolution through addressing customer and/or company issues and bringing them to timely closure. Communicate regularly with branded oil company representatives on business and site level strategy. Plan and schedule dealer meetings as necessary. Attend monthly department meetings as scheduled. Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time available. Identify solutions to resolve conflicts as they arise.  Customer Service Orientation Anticipate customer needs and proactively prepare solutions. Review and manage customer and company obligations as specified per contracts. Develop win-win solutions to promote strategic partnerships between customers and company. Target and create action plans for underperforming sites to maximize volume at each site. Entertain clients on a regular basis, including some nights and weekends, and possess ability to communicate with different cultures. Analyze mystery shop performance and utilize as a tool to improve consumer experience. Create, generate, and provide site-specific promotions and marketing programs. Developing Talent Act as a team player and possess willingness to assist any team member when needed for the betterment of the company. Coach and develop Dealer Business Consultants to ensure readiness for next opportunity and maximize performance. Takes actions necessary to grow to next level and succeed. Develop a competitive spirit and bring passion to the work environment daily. Complete training as required to meet company guidelines. Technical Expertise Provide bi-weekly summary report to Director on site activity and issues with assigned area. Conduct required site visits to ensure compliance with branded oil company standards. Utilize Prophix to understand and react to business trends. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Adhere to all Wallis Companies safety policies and report all safety incidents to supervisor immediately. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct: Dealer Business Consultants (2)

Experience: Preferred: 3+ years in wholesale fuel, retail, B2B sales, or similar customer-facing role
Language Skills: * Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Skills and Abilities: Intensive knowledge of a specialty field and the use of a wide range of procedures.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations: *Current valid driver's license
