Job Summary Prep and paint shutter doors and all other painted products according to quality guidelines and customer requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Perform paint selection and mixing.
· Perform paint booth operation and operate HVLP spray equipment.
· Maintain filters.
· Prep all profiles per work instructions.
· Clean and polish the shutter using the correct power tools.
· Help hand racks to be painted and remove racks after painting.
· Follow all quality guidelines and work instructions.
· Working knowledge of the paint production floor.
· Follow all OSHA requirements for breathing systems and waste disposal.
· Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements Must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English, plus have adequate hearing and visual acuity and superior understanding of verbal and written instructions. Working environment is an unheated and non air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting. Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment. Physical requirements of the position includes frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting and walking. Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced, high stress work environment. Shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am-6:30pm. OT throughout the week as needed.

· Previous experience performing finish painting on automobiles, trucks or metal materials.
· PPG Qualification
· PPG 2-Year Re-Qualification
· Demonstrated ability to paint metal vehicle parts.
· Demonstrated ability to mix paint.
· Knowledge of paint booth operation and ability to operate HVLP spray equipment.
