Job Description The Web & Analytics Specialist manages the maintenance, strategy, and configurations of website analytics platforms to drive data informed decision-making for website efforts. This position will also produce new and improve existing quality web content for the university website to support the Ohio University brand and marketing efforts.


Other duties may include supporting front-end web development efforts, performing keyword research, developing search engine optimization strategies, leading technical SEO projects, optimizing on-site search, managing A/B testing, and providing data analytics support for paid media campaigns.


The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of analytics platforms, including Universal Google Analytics, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager with experience configuring complex data analytics, evaluating results, and providing data informed recommendations. A successful candidate also has experience in producing engaging SEO-rich content, improving website UX, and working collaboratively with other cross-functional content producers and stakeholders. Solid working knowledge of website information architecture, web accessibility and compliance, and content management systems will be required for success in this role. Basic familiarity with front end web coding languages including HTML and CSS is required.

Basic familiarity with front end web coding languages including HTML and CSS A deep understanding of organic search engine optimization techniques Experience conducting keyword research Excellent website content proofing skills Ability to work in a collaborative environment to create engaging web content for various demographic constituencies Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently Professional written and interpersonal skills Ability to adhere to brand standards in development of website content Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, or other related field Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in configuring and analyzing website data in Google Analytics and other analytics platforms Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in content authoring and publishing within web content management systems Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of the Drupal CMS Certifications in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search are preferred, but not required Experience working in a project management system Experience working in the higher education field

Pay Rate Target hiring range for this role is $58,972 to 78,139. The full salary range for Pay Grade 18 is $58,972 to $98,125. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity.
