We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Manager to bring their strong can-do attitude to make projects come to life across Gusto's website. As a Web Marketing Program Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of web-based projects. This role requires a combination of strong project management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a go-getter approach. You will be responsible for guiding projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet stakeholder requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget. Projects range across Gusto's website including site updates, landing page optimizations, SEO improvements, CMS component development, experimentation, and more. This role is extremely collaborative and operates in a driven environment.


Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Program Planning Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables Vet incoming requests to ensure they are thought through and have the required information needed to move forward Prioritize requests and allocate resources based on a combination of impact, effort, and an understanding of how projects connect/work with other projects Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success Agile methodologies Coordination & Communication Setup and run kickoff meetings Collaborate with Brand Studio's creative producer to meet creative requirements within project timelines Enforce meeting etiquette (set clear agendas, table off-topic chatter, assign clear action items, etc.) Manage stakeholder communication end-to-end throughout entire project lifecycle Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and team members Present updates in monthly business reviews to key leadership (publishing stats, major project launches, request metrics, etc.) Quality Assurance Conduct thorough testing and review of deliverables to meet project requirements Manage all necessary signoffs (requestor, leadership, legal, etc.) Provide and act upon feedback from Engineering/Web retrospectives Proactively identify and resolve issues Delivery & Time Management Monitor project timelines and ensure that milestones are met Identify potential delays and implement strategies to keep the project on schedule Ownership & Execution Own publishing process including prioritization, QA, and new page documentation Publish new pages and updates in our WordPress CMS Audit site for required updates and publish Pull data from Amplitude and Tableau for reporting Documentation Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, meeting notes, and status reports Organize and make project documentation accessible to team members and stakeholders Here's what we're looking for: Minimum 4 years of hands-on program management experience, ideally within B2B or SaaS environments Experience using JIRA and Asana is a requirement. Ability to navigate and leverage these tools effectively Agile methodologies Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail are imperative for success in this role Demonstrated robust critical thinking abilities. Adept at discerning connections and interrelations among individuals and projects Strong time management skills, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery within specified timelines Proven capability to work harmoniously with diverse personalities across various disciplines, leading teams towards collaborative solutions Proactively address issues and approach challenges with a positive "can-do" attitude, always ready to solve problems creatively and effectively Possess a curious, persistent, logical, and clever mindset, contributing to innovative problem-solving approaches Demonstrate adaptability and maintain composure under pressure, showcasing a flexible and calm demeanor in dynamic work environments Passionate about Gusto's mission and the impact we can have on the world Our base salary cash compensation range for this role is $92,000 to $107,000 in Denver and most other remote locations, and $112,000 to $131,000 in San Francisco and New York City. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
